Introduced in 2001, the Dot NAME domain extension is the only one meant for personal sites only. These domains can be personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other designations people are famous by. At the beginning, only 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to secure john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered 3rd-level domain names remained active.

Through our firm, you can secure your .NAME domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years. You will have the opportunity to modify the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our company if you get its EPP transfer authorization code from the present domain service provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been done. There are no particular conditions on who can grab a .NAME domain, but in order to keep the objective behind its creation alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.

The dot NAME universal top-level extension is among the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no further cost.
