Access Log Manager
Access Log Manager - what role does it serve and how you can use the information you'll find inside it.
An access log is a thorough list of all the files that were accessed by the guests of a particular website. Any file which was requested for whatever reason shall be listed, so if you have just one webpage with 3 embedded pics, one video and one embedded text file, as an example, the access log will contain a total of 6 entries - one for every of the 6 files that were accessed when the visitor opened the page. A log typically provides the file name and path, the date, in addition to the visitor’s OS, web browser and IP address. Occasionally you could also find the referrer sites that sent the visitors to your website. The information an access log file includes is in human-readable plain text format. It could be processed by special software on a desktop machine and used to write reports on the overall performance of an Internet site, aside from the web stats which your web hosting server may have produced.

Access Log Manager in Shared Web Hosting
Our custom Hepsia CP features a section focused on various logs and the access logs are among them. As soon as you sign in to your
shared web hosting account and visit this section, you'll find a list of all the domains and subdomains which you have. All it takes to allow the generation of access logs is to press a button that'll be available next to each and every domain/subdomain. When the option is active, you will see a download link along with the file size so far, so you will be able to save the file to your computer and look at it or process it with some application. Enabling or disabling the logs takes effect instantaneously, so if you no longer require one, you can stop it with simply a click from the same exact section of the Control Panel. You'll still be able to access the already generated content by simply clicking on the Download link.

All it takes for our system to start producing logs is a single click on the On button that you will see there. The function can be enabled independently for any website no matter if it uses a domain or a subdomain and you shall find a complete list of all the hosts in that section.
