Custom Error Pages
Take a plunge into website error pages. Find out when they appear and why you should set up your own custom error pages.
If a page on your site does not load, an error message will be displayed to the visitor. Since there are different errors, there are different pages that will appear, but what's typical for all of them is that they are generic and probably shall have absolutely nothing that resembles the layout of your website, which could be aggravating for any website visitor. That is the reason why hosting service providers have introduced a function referred to as Custom Error Pages. For a range of different errors, visitors shall see your customized content, which could be informative or amusing, depending on your taste, and which will match the overall style and design of your Internet site, so the pages shall not appear as if they're not part of your site at all. You may use this option for a number of errors - 400 (Bad request), 401 (Unauthorized), 403 (Forbidden) and 404 (File not Found).
