A: The web site migration service that our company is offering is free of charge (within a certain limit). We’ll transfer your web site(s) to our leading–edge cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that swapping web hosting providers can result in lost data and undesired network downtime. This is the reason why we will perform all that for you at no cost!We’ve got seasoned administrators whose main responsibility is to ensure that your web site performs exactly as it did on your old web hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–built web sites, as well as web sites that are based on well–known apps such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time frame, since there are plenty of variables, among them the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our very best to move your web site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We’ll need the login details for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to start the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share pretty much the same information you have given to your old web hosting provider. We also have a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is dealt with.

A: While we transfer your web site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. When the transfer is completed, we will make sure that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your content is not compromised before notifying you that the migration is complete. After that, we will explain to you how to transfer the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to modify the DNS records.

A: No. We’ll never contact your web hosting provider about anything at all. They won’t be aware of the web site migration either.

A: We can migrate your site from any hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform as long as we can access the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only web sites that we cannot transfer are those based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
